Managing Multiple Accounts

You can create multiple accounts for:

  • Different brokers (e.g., Tradovate + Interactive Brokers)
  • Live vs. paper trading accounts
  • Different strategies or timeframes

Switching accounts: Use the account selector in the top navigation. Each account has its own trades, stats, and settings.

Security & Privacy

  • Broker credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM
  • Passwords are never stored (we use API keys/tokens only)
  • You can disconnect anytime without losing trade data
  • Row-level security ensures you only see your own accounts

FAQs

Can I change account types later? No, but you can create a new account and migrate trades.

Can I have multiple accounts from the same broker? Yes! This is useful for separating live and paper accounts.

What happens if I disconnect a broker?

  • Existing trades remain in your journal
  • Auto-sync stops
  • You can reconnect anytime

Can I manually add trades to a connected account? Not directly, but you can create a separate manual entry account for additional trades.
